Armaggan hosted an exclusive summer reception at the unique historical beauty Armaggan Bosporus Suites located in Ortaköy and presented the Floral Jewelry Collection to the members of ‘’Spouses of the Consular Corps of İstanbul’’ (SCCI) founded by the spouses of the “Istanbul Consular Corps” (ICC), which consists of the career and honorary consulates in Istanbul.
The spouses of the consuls enjoyed a mellow presentation about the bosphorus and its historry by the professional guide Sinan Sökmen and then had the chance to view ARMAGGAN’s Floral Jewelry Collection, designed with a unique approach taking its inspiration from the beautiful regional flowers that has been a subject to myths and tales from Anatolia.
Hosted by the chairwoman of SCCI, wife of the Consul General of Australia, Nicole Strangis and the General Manager of Armaggan, Ebru Karaçam, the reception made the invitees have a joyous day accompanied with live music and elegant treats and gave the chance of getting to know ARMAGGAN’s unique Floral Jewelry Collection, created by uniqe handcraftsmanship.
States of Material III, exhibition met with its audience at ARMAGGAN Art&Design Gallery, located in ARMAGGAN Nuruosmaniye store on June 11, 2015. Including artists and designers such as ZOOM TPU, Arman Suciyan, Yavuz Ergun, Nejla Güvenç, Neşe Çoğal, Güneş Özmen ve Tan Taşpolatoğlu, the exhibition focuses on the most essential element of the artwork and product; material.
The artist and the designer who do not know each other or have not produced a work together are paired to make a thing in the exhibition. They are not limited in any ways in terms of their work/product and are let completely free.
Produced as a result of 21 group and 7 individual practices, the exhibition involves works of artists and designers who use different materials, and techniques but share the same approach in art. Founded to support the young artists and designers, ARMAGGAN Art&Design Gallery hosted two young and successful names on the sixth edition of the solo show series. The two shows, bringing together the works of the young sculptor Aysun Bozuklu and dynamic design team Naif Design, can be viewed between April 16, 2015 – May 9, 2015.

Neşe Çoğal questioning the terms “core” and “life” in her series called “Blastokist, Like a Reborn“ by adding the human factor to the transformations of minerals, the passing from one phase to the other of the plants, the journeys of the animals in the course of nature, conveys the motion of life from the start to the end by using the integrity of nature and human.
The term, “Illusion” known as the reflection of the emotions are used here with the inspiration from the goddesses that has been symbolizing power and fertility since the day women existed and the female icons in the history of painting, Ayşe Özen adapts, the depictions that she coincides with women, to the language of contemporary art.

The second of the “Pleasure Talks with Armaggan” series hosted a special talk with one of the prominent names of Turkish Literature; Mario Levi and Luxury Brand Consultant Özlem Güsar on Thursday November 27 at ARMAGGAN Nişantaşı Store.
Bringing traditional handcrafts that are yet to sink into oblivion to future by means of unique materials, high quality and modern lines, ARMAGGAN hosted the second edition of its “Pleasure Talks” series with the title “The values that exist and to be brought into future from Mario Levi’s eyes”. The authentic values of İstanbul; brooches, handkerchiefs and the offering cultures were discussed. The brooch culture, a symbol of elegance in many civilizations, was investigated in company with precious stoned ARMAGGAN jewelry inspired by the fantasy world, in the talk to which distinguished guests of ARMAGGAN attended. The handkerchief culture was talked about with the embroidered handkerchiefs, a symbol of İstanbul elegance, the offerings culture that mirrors the civilizations was mentioned in company with the selected limited edition, produced with traditional techniques pieces from ARMAGGAN Objets D’art collection.

The coordinator of the gallery and the curator of the exhibition, Şanel Şan Sevinç explains the origin of the idea of having Emre Özçaylan and Emre Kantaşlı’nın together as: “Both Emre are young, excited and people who put art as the main focus in their lives. Their lives breathe with art. Emre Kantaşlı, looks for the changes on people caused by the purged cities that are sterilized by modernism. He is emphasizing the loneliness that the emptiness would cause. Emre Özçaylan is attracting the audience in the very beginning, with his mastery in the material and his subtlity in using them. With his sculptors, that has an experimental process each, he is trying to create a net between men and animals.”
